Career Journey

Full Stack Engineer
As a Full Stack Engineer at Walmart Global Tech, I worked across the technology stack primarily on pre-checkout experiences: homepage, product search + discovery, and product detail pages.
This role involved working on both front-end UIs and NodeJS microservices within the orchestration layer, where I integrated quick shop features for Walmart's International Markets.
I also contributed to migrating these markets into our new tech stack and monorepo, supporting Walmart's global expansion and digital innovation, and ultimately delivering a seamless experience for millions of users.
I later transitioned to a Machine Learning Platform, taking on the role of Lead Front-End Engineer. In this capacity, I build robust user interfaces and develop Node.js microservices that empower Walmart's data scientists to develop, train, and deploy models at scale.
By translating complex data workflows into intuitive designs, our product helps accelerate ML experimentation and drive innovation across the organization.

Software Engineer
At Microsoft, I served as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on front-end development and pixel-perfect design. I contributed to an advanced web-based hardware and software emulation and prototyping system, which supported multiple internal teams in co-creating end-to-end user scenarios for products like Windows, Microsoft Office, Edge, and other first-party applications.
In this role, I designed and developed immersive, pixel-perfect user interfaces and interactive prototypes for forthcoming Windows operating system releases. By aligning design and engineering efforts, I ensured a seamless, high-quality user experience for our product offerings.

UX Engineer
Xometry, a global marketplace for on-demand manufacturing, acquired Thomas in a $300 million cash-and-stock deal.
Following this acquisition, I contributed to integration efforts between the two companies — collaborating across engineering and product teams to unify technology solutions, streamline workflows, and ensure a seamless experience for both Thomas and Xometry customers.

UX Engineer
In my role as a UX Engineer, I combined a strong technical background with a focus on pixel perfect design, ensuring our user interfaces were both robust and visually engaging. I led front-end engineering for multiple high-impact projects, including User Registration Flow, User Profile, Company Profile, Claim Your Company, and Supplier Analytics.
A major highlight was systematically standardizing front-end development through the creation of a UI library, built and documented with Storybook. This allowed designers and developers to preview and interact with reusable components, complete with usage guidelines. By publishing the code as an NPM package, teams could easily install and update the library, ensuring consistency and accelerating development across the organization.
Through these efforts, I established a scalable, unified design system that maintained best practices in performance, accessibility, and usability. The result was a smoother development process, cohesive product experiences, and a strong foundation to how we approach front-end development.

Experience Optimization Lead
As the Experience Optimization Lead, I played a pivotal role in developing and scaling our experimentation program from its early stages. This was more than just implementing A/B tests — it was about fostering a culture of experimentation that empowered data-driven decision-making across our product offerings.
A major focus of my role was refining and expanding our A/B and multivariate testing framework, but what truly set our program apart was the integration of our marketing and UX software stack.
This allowed us to create a full feedback loop and a 360° view of our customers. By connecting Optimizely, FullStory, Usabilla, and Tealium, we built a seamless data ecosystem that allowed us to deeply understand user behavior and optimize experiences in real time.
- Optimizely: A/B testing, helping us iterate quickly and measure user behavior.
- FullStory: Session recordings for visual insights into user engagement.
- Usabilla: Captured direct user feedback and powered NPS tracking.
- Tealium: Unified data across platforms, enabling real-time targeting and personalization.
By integrating these technologies, we created an end-to-end optimization framework that allowed us to test, observe, gather feedback, and refine experiences in real time.
Working closely with Marketing, Designers, and Engineers, I helped optimize landing pages, improve user flows, and refine messaging to drive higher engagement. This collaboration played a key role in achieving a major milestone—capturing 1 million registered users through continuous experimentation and data-driven optimizations.
By bridging technical implementation, data strategy, UX optimization, and marketing collaboration, I helped build a scalable, data-driven experimentation culture that empowered smarter, more user-centric product decisions.

Conversion Rate Optimization
My professional career began at a digital marketing agency, where I worked with cross-functional teams to optimize conversion rates for client websites and apps. Collaborating with designers, developers, and marketing strategists, I focused on improving user experience and maximizing engagement.
In my first year, I was honored with the "Rookie of the Year" award for my contributions to client success and innovative approach to conversion rate optimization. The following year, I was part of the team that won "Team of the Year", recognizing our outstanding collaboration and results-driven performance.
During this time, I gained extensive hands-on experience with SEO and PPC, learning how search engine algorithms, keyword strategies, and paid advertising campaigns directly influence conversion rates. I worked closely with digital marketers to optimize landing pages, improve ad performance, and enhance organic search visibility, ensuring that traffic wasn't just increasing—but converting.
My expertise and leadership in conversion rate optimization led to a promotion to Lead Strategist at the end of my second year, where I took on a larger role in developing digital strategies, mentoring junior team members, and driving high-impact initiatives.
I also developed and executed comprehensive A/B and multivariate tests to identify high-converting UI patterns and layouts. By analyzing user behavior and performance metrics, I refined website experiences to drive measurable improvements in conversion rates.
This experience was pivotal in sharpening my SEO, PPC, UX, and front-end engineering skills, while deepening my understanding of conversion rate optimization and data-driven decision-making.

Consultant - Freelance
My passion for technology continued to flourish as I honed my skills in software development, UI/UX, and design. During this period, I worked as a freelance consultant, helping small businesses navigate the complexities of digital transformation.
Beyond software development, I assist clients with digital strategy, data analytics, digital marketing (SEO, pay-per-click, social media, etc), cloud migration, and I.T. services — ensuring their systems are optimized for growth. From implementing enterprise software to streamlining operations, I help businesses build a strong digital foundation while providing ongoing maintenance and support.
These experiences enable me to continuously expand my capabilities beyond technical skills. I continue to grow in sales, client relations, and project management, further broadening my professional expertise. Working closely with business owners, I learn how to bridge the gap between technical solutions and real-world business needs, ensuring technology is an asset, not a barrier.

Mooch
Mooch is a WiFi-sharing app that makes connecting to networks effortless and secure. I founded this application in 2014 to provide an innovative solution to a flawed conventional process.
At the time, joining a guest WiFi network was an unnecessary struggle. You had to dig through your phone's settings, search for the correct WiFi network, and hope the homeowner remembered the password (or worse—type a long, complicated string of characters found somewhere on the back of the router).
Beyond the inconvenience, there was a bigger issue: why were we sharing WiFi passwords at all? We don’t casually hand out passwords for our bank accounts, social media, or email—yet, for some reason, sharing a WiFi password was the norm.
Mooch changed that.
With just one click, guests could securely connect without ever seeing the password or even searching for the network. Hosts stayed in control, with the ability to set time-limited access (1 hour, 1 day, or unlimited)—a feature that, even today, most platforms still don’t offer.
By removing friction and improving security, Mooch provided a simple, practical solution for an everyday problem—one that rethought how we share access without sacrificing privacy.
