Rewind a decade ago and WiFi sharing was a pain! Unlimited mobile data plans were expensive and considered a luxury. I wanted to create a mobile app that would allow for seamless and safe WiFi sharing to avoid going over on cellular data. The conventional sharing methods were cumbersome and insecure.

I found a friend to help me develop the idea. Together we developed seamless and secure WiFi sharing.

My passion for technology continued to flourish as I honed my software development and UX skills. During this period, I freelanced for small businesses in the area, which allowed me to refine my technical expertise and learn the vital importance of soft skills.

This experience enabled me to expand my capabilities in sales, client relations, and project management, further broadening my professional skill set.

My professional career began at a digital marketing agency, where I was tasked with optimizing conversion rates for client websites. In this role, I developed comprehensive A/B and multivariate tests to identify high-converting UI patterns and layouts.

This experience was pivotal in sharpening my UX and front-end engineering skills, while also providing me with valuable insights into conversation rate optimization.

In my role as the Experience Optimization Lead, I was deeply involved in nurturing our experimentation program during its early stages. This was an exciting challenge that went beyond just technical implementation; it was about instilling a culture of testing and experimentation to drive continuous improvement across our product offerings.

My contribution to this role centered around refining and expanding our A/B and multivariate testing framework. I was able to integrate our UX tech stack to allowed for shared data across our platforms, such as: Optimizely, FullStory, Usabilla and Tealium. This allowed our company to make better data-driven decisions and provide a more personalized experience for our users.

A key aspect of my role involved leveraging my technical expertise in JavaScript and React to construct robust A/B testing scenarios. These tests were meticulously designed to assess user engagement and experience so that we could incorporate data-driven insights into our product design process.

In my role as a UX Engineer, I played a key role in integrating design and front-end code to develop immersive UIs using React and TypeScript.

I led the creation of a front-end UI library and documentation site, which enhanced the design system and engineering efforts across the company. I collaborated closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality user interfaces while maintaining best practices in web development, performance, accessibility, and usability.

Commissioned by the Windows Design Team to create pixel perfect user interfaces and immersive interactive prototypes for the forthcoming Windows operating system.

In my position as a Full Stack Engineer at Walmart Global Tech, I played a pivotal role working across the technology stack, with a focus on front-end development and managing NodeJS microservices in the orchestration layer.

My responsibilities included facilitating the integration of international markets into our new tech stack and monorepo. I was actively involved in implementing new features into Walmart Canada and Walmart Mexico, contributing significantly to the global expansion and technological advancement of Walmart's digital presence.
